VW Polo 1.4 which cracks well but do not start
Hi I have a VW Polo 1.4 which cracks well but do not start I checked the fuel pump it is working it's delivers petrol to the injectors but still it's won't start .But the throttle does not open when I turn the ignition on .I don't know what the problem is now.
Please assist .

Did you review the sidebar for info? If this is EFI or mechanical fuel injection? Spark and fuel need to be verified visually. Check for blown fuses, Test spark with one plug removed, connected to plug wire or all plugs removed with a coil pack. Ground the plug base(s) to the engine block with a wire and have someone crank the engine while you observe for spark. If injectors failed, plugs would be dry from numerous starting attempts. No spark/no raw fuel on plugs may point to a dead crank position sensor (presuming EFI).
