This Nintendo DS was purchased at a St. Vincent de Paul for around $15 and I don’t wanna give up on it. It has a broken game cards not L trigger but the motherboard otherwise works.

Look's like your top screen ribbon cable has an issue, i had the same problem with three DS's , you need too replace the top screen, unluckily there's no other solution

hello, I got rid of this Nintendo DS a very long time ago since this question was asked 10 months ago thanks for replying and giving me an answer and since I have more experience, I’ve been able to learn about this more but the DS had bent pins bad trigger broken hinge, so that’s why I got rid of it but anyways thank you.
