I have an NV-GS15 camcorder. Unused for some time. There appears to be some sort of mold on the inside of the fold out screen display. How do I open it to clean it?

Here's the service manual that may help.
On p.25 it shows the dis-assembly flowchart
On p.31 it has an exploded view of the LCD assembly.
If the mould is on part #34 (seen on p.31) and it can't be cleaned off, the part number is on p.88, although searching online I couldn't find any suppliers using either the part number or the model number of the camcorder. You may have better luck
