hi, i recently got my psp-2004 back from the attic, with another battery, cause the first one was dead, and i go to plug it in, and i find out that it shows no display and the green light does not turn on, when i take out the battery, plug it back in, it shows a green light, which turns off after like 5 seconds, and i still get a black screen.
looking forward to suggestions.

@troublemaker47 you said "with another battery" how old is that battery and have you checked it out. It is possible that his is strictly a battery issue. It is also possible that this is a battery connector, voltage regulator or just a fuse issue. We really would need to see the board. Use these guides PSP 2000 to work on it and post as many GOOD pictures with you QUESTION as you can so we can see what you see and hopefully resolve this issue.
