Help with RAM upgrade?

I need to upgrade the RAM in my iMac. It is either an EMC 2134 or 2211, but I don't know which. I need help figuring it out. here are my system specs:

2.8GHz Intel Core 2 Duo

2 (1GBx2) GB 800 MHz DDR2 SDRAM

L2 Cache: 6MB

Bus: 1.07GHz

SMC Version 1.30f1

OPTIARC DVD RW AD-5630A

ATI Raedon HD 2600 Pro 256MB

WDC WD3200AAJS-40VWA1 320GB

I am currently running snow leopard with no problems. Again, can anyone figure out whether this is a EMC 2134 or 2211? Thanks.

in Apple parlance, your iMac 2.8GHz Core 2 Duo with 1066MHz system bus would be AKA an iMac 24" (Early 2008) model

this iMac has 2 memory slots and according to Mactracker it can support up to 6GB of RAM, 200pin PC2-6400 (800MHz) DDR2 SO-DIMM (support for up to 6GB in this model is confirmed by other sources, even though Apple's official spec is 4GB)

note: the iMac 24" (Mid 2007) model has a slower system bus 800MHz, has only 4MB L2 cache, and only supports up to 4GB of PC2-5300 DDR2 RAM). So it seems your iMac is the Early 2008 variant I mentioned earlier.

BTW, you should be able to find the EMC number on the bottom of the stand of your iMac
