According to your photo, and based off of the position of the SIM card tray, that is the TOP of the phone that is popping out, not the bottom.
The issue you are having is that the top of the phone cannot be pressed into place! The top of the phone must be slotted into place before any of the press connections are pressed into place.
Photos attached are of a new screen I have in stock for reference. I do not have a 5s in the shop right now to show you the proper procedure, but reversing the directions on this guide (iPhone 5s Screen Replacement) should show you.
Basically, the top of the phone screen frame is hooked (photo 1), and must be slotted over the part of the iphone frame that holds them, and only then do you press down all the connections (photo 2, I know my photoshop skills for adding arrows is unparalleled).
It is possible with flexing and bending that these top hooks pop out. However, the only way to make it properly sit flush again is to take the screen off and put it back on properly. Attempting to bend and flex the frame without taking the screen off is almost completely guaranteed to cause more damage instead of fixing your problem.
