Where is the hall sensor of MacBook Air M1?
My Mac can’t sleep when closing lid and I’m sure it’s hall sensor not working.
But I’m quite confused about where is it located precisely.

There are 2. The first is located in the Right Speaker (it's under some foam), and the other is in the microphone assembly.
The pictures I used for the MacBook Air Black Screen troubleshooting page were taken from an M1 MacBook Air for reference.

Do you know if it can be fooled with some magnets?

I just wanted to chime in and let you know, that I had the same issue with my MacBook Air M1 not going properly to sleep.. and giving different errors during startup.
After replacing the right speaker, everything worked fine again.

Hey, I have the same problem. I've changed the battery in the 2020 mb air. The lid sensor stopped working. Can you please direct me into the thing that i might've been destroyed?
