Why my phone is not charging, nor turning on after drain battery

My phone battery was completely drained, so the phone shut down. I put it to charge and briefly saw the charging icon after a few seconds. I tried to turn it on and after that it won respond. I tried pressing the power and volume buttons with no success.

The wireless charger seems to be charging but nothing es shown on the screen.
