Why does the sound pause when I switch between apps?

When I use my podcast app (Podkicker) or Spotify and the switch to another app lika Ingress or Chrome my sound disappears for two seconds and then comes back. Never had this.

It sounds like you're experiencing an issue with the audio playback on your device when switching between apps. Here are a few potential solutions you can try:

  1. Restart your device: Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve temporary glitches or issues. Turn off your device and then turn it back on.
  2. Check for app updates: Ensure that both your podcast app (Podkicker) and Spotify are up to date. Developers often release updates to fix bugs and improve overall performance.
  3. Clear app cache: If the issue persists, you can try clearing the cache of the affected apps. Go to your device's settings, find the app manager or applications section, locate the respective apps (Podkicker, Spotify, Ingress, Chrome), and clear their caches.
  4. Reinstall the apps: If clearing the cache doesn't help, consider uninstalling and reinstalling the problematic apps. This can resolve any potential issues with the app's installation.
  5. Check for conflicting apps: Sometimes, certain apps might interfere with each other, especially those that use audio. Check if there are any recently installed apps that might be causing conflicts. You can uninstall them temporarily to see if the issue persists.
  6. Adjust audio settings: Go to your device's audio settings and make sure that the audio output settings are configured correctly. Check if there are any specific settings related to the podcast app, Spotify, or your device's audio preferences.
  7. Update your device's operating system: Ensure that your device's operating system is up to date. System updates often include bug fixes and improvements that can address various issues.
  8. Check for background processes: Some background processes or apps might be using significant resources, causing interruptions in audio playback. Close unnecessary apps running in the background.

If none of these solutions work, it's possible that there may be a more complex issue, and you may want to contact the support teams for the specific apps or your device manufacturer for further assistance.

Tried all this. Unfortunately it did not work. I might have done something wrong thou. I also tried another pair of ear buds from Samsung. They worked perfectly so it is probably the OnePlus Buds 2z that is the problem.
