My 2023 GE microwave will shut off after about 5 minutes and will turn on about 15 minutes later with “PF” displayed. Is this a different problem? (Just got it new in December 2023)

If you got it new in Dec '23 contact the GE customer support centre in your location and get it repaired/replaced/refunded under warranty.
Do not open the microwave cabinet etc to check what's wrong as you will void the warranty.
