If you replaced the fingerprint sensor along with the screen (most screens have a new sensor included), follow this guide to calibrate it and restore its functionality.

You will definitely want to go through the fingerprint calibration procedure, but there are many cases where that doesn't help; here's a post under the Answers forum detailing many people's experience with non-functional fingerprint scanners following screen replacement.
I am fighting this same issue on my niece's Pixel 6 Pro; the screen was replaced and nothing I've done since has gotten the fingerprint sensor working again, including two different screens and two different replacement sensors, along with trying any- and everything I can find on the internet regarding the problem.
