iPad Unavailable Need Help
Hey all,
I am trying to help out a friend and get her mother's iPad going after not using it for 2 years. I have read the articles and tried them all with no luck. The iPad is showing 'iPad Unavailable' I have put it into recovery mode and it isn't being recognized in iTunes. I have used other cables. I can confirm it is in device manager. I have contacted Apple support and they want me to take it to a store. I really don't want to as there isn't one near me with in 2 hours. That and I am just trying to help out. I don't think they are the kind of people that would go to the store to have it fixed either.
My ultimate question it: Is there any way, at all, to completely reset this thing and re-set it up for her? Like most things, I assume there is that super secret code all field techs know to do and I want in on it. Thank you for any help and please remember that I'm just trying to help a friend. Thank you.
