Left Speaker Replacement Does Not Work
Replacement speaker has very low volume and the sound is tinny. Is this the part or something I have done?

That sounds like a bad speaker. Where did you get the part? See if they will send you a replacement.

The original & OEM speakers for these 13" & 15" Retina models are 'not exactly of the best quality" and are notorious for failing easily, depending on your location give The BookYard a shout to see if they have an original set in stock as they do ship orders out worldwide.
