FixHub Battery Error after updating firmware to 1.4.0

Recently unboxed a new ordered FixHub.

Outside the box, plugged into a USB-PD charger, the screen did not work.

Followed up with online tech documents, plugged in the device to my PC, and visited FixHub Console, which successfully detected the device. After being prompted to update to firmware 1.4.0, the screen finally turned on. The device shows a charging animation. After a while, to see if the battery would charge >0%, the device screen flashed "Battery Error, tool shutdown". When Attempted to plug into a USB-PD charger, a similar error popped up.

Replugged it into the PC, following the same instructions to update the firmware to 1.4.0 (again), and was notified of a successful update (again). However, the same Battery Error fault persisted.

I submitted a ticket to support under "other", but I'm unsure if that was the correct choice. I'm submitting a question here in case this is the correct method.

Same problem here, just got my unit today and it's dead wont charge in any form so I updated it and now i got Battery Error, tool shutdown at 1.4.0.

Mine just arrived and I've gone through the same steps and got the same results so far.

Currently leaving it hooked up to my pc and it seems to be charging but this is only going to be a trickle charge that takes all night so this needs a real solution

-Edit- Let it get to 3% charge while connected to pc and then move it to a dedicated USB-C charger. Mine's just reach 63% with no errors. It looks like the battery voltage is so low that the station throws an erroneous error. Tested the iron and that's working fine too

I'm also having a problem with my recently purchased FixHub. It arrived dead. It only started charging on the third charger I've tried (currently, it's not picky and charges with any charger). But at 75%, the SoC displays a "Battery Error, Discharge limited", and charging drops from 20V/2A to 20V/0.8A. After few minutes its back to 20V/2A. After a few seconds it returns to 20V/2A and after a while it displays the error again.

I'm having the same problem here. Frustrating, because it's not a cheap tool either. I've even tried to charge it with low power from my laptop, as suggested in this thread, but recieves the same error.

Hi,
had the same issue but after some digging I found this post here: Is firmware 1.4.0 boot looping with error B02 & low 0% battery known?

Did the same thing as described in the post. Downgraded the Power station to Firmware version 1.3.2. After that I could charge it without issues. At ~5% I re-flashed 1.4.0. and it kept charging without farther issues
