Whirlpool WTW5057LW0 washer with error code F5E1 - lid switch. I replaced the lid switched and reset the washer (unplugged for about 10 mins). Pushed the arrow button a few seconds, 4 lights illuminated to start a cycle, NOTHING. No clicks to the door lock.... nothing. I tried several things, different cycle, nothing. I ran diagnostics, no codes. IDEAS???

Don't know the washer but it seems that the lid switch is part of the lid lock assembly. The assembly consists of the lock, the lock switch and the lid switch.
Here's the tech sheet for the model that may help.
Disconnect the power to the washer and then check if the lid lock assembly tests OK as per the lid lock resistance chart at the bottom of p.2 in the sheet when testing from the relevant control board connectors
