I need to replace the battery on my ipod touch 4th generation.I understand that the battery is available from Ifixit.
Do I get the replacement instructions with my order?Or can I find disassembly instructions online please.
Any link to the disssembly guide is higly appreciated.

This will provide you with the guide to tear down the iPod until you get to the battery: iPod Touch 4th Generation Headphone Jack Replacement
Unfortunately, they do not have a direct guide to replace the Battery, this specific one is for replacing the Headphone Jack.

No, you will not. Just align the battery so that the ribbon cable is straight.

So ,after I have changed the battery , I'll just put everything back togeter and no new adhesive.The existing adhesive will work again no heating required.right?

No, you will need either new adhesive or some super glue.
