In this guide you will remove the speakers on the JBL Tune 770NC headphones. Issues with a speaker could be the root of many different performance issues with your headphones, so replacing one or both of them might solve your problem. This process is moderately easy, and should only require a jimmy tool, tweezers, and a screwdriver.

Insert your prying tool in the seam between the ear pads and the chassis.

Gently pry around the perimeter of the ear pad, with care not to warp the plastic.

Once you have made the gap wide enough, use your fingers to gently remove the ear pad.

Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the three screws securing the speaker bracket.

Insert a Jimmy tool between the speaker bracket and chassis and pry around the perimeter until it fully releases.

Remove the speaker bracket.

Use tweezers to gently fold back the six clips that are holding the speaker in place.

Rotate the speaker case and push on the front of the speaker using your tweezers, applying moderate force.

To reassemble your device, follow the above steps in reverse order.
