Use the flat end of a spudger to disconnect the front camera flex cable.
-
Use a pair of tweezers to carefully remove the front facing camera. Be careful to only grip the body of the camera, as the top is the sensor pcb and is only held on with glue (removal will ruin the sensor).

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
The best way to secure the new screen is with a sheet of custom-cut double-sided tape. Apply the tape to the back of the screen, then carefully feed the display and touchscreen cable through the frame. Align the screen and press it into place.

Need help: My screen came out so I took the phone apart and re-glued the screen with some 1mm 3M tape. Now I reassembled it and it vibrates on boot and I can see the backlight go on because a corner of the screen is broken off… Also WhatsApp Web works. So the phone is definitely working, but the display isnt showing anything… I re-checked the main screen connector at the bottom and it is properly plugged… what can I do?
Your replacement screen might be bad, or your display cable broke in which case you would need a new motherboard.
Hello,
The secondary screen cable was cut off during the disassembly. Is there any way to fix it or would it be necessary to buy a whole new screen for this purpose?
Thanks.
