Insert multiple additional cards between the first and second card to create a wedge that will begin to lever the battery away from the rear case.

Don't insert your cards beneath or on top of the two starter cards, as the added pressure will increase the risk of puncturing the battery.

You can use additional plastic cards, old/expired credit cards, or even playing cards for this step.
