iPhone 3GS battery replacement

We all have iPhone 5's. I found the old 3GS in a box and the battery was done for. Needed to sell it or give it away and didn't want to do that with a dead battery

This was my 3rd iFixit experience. It went without a hitch. One of the cables has a pretty small connection but with a pair of tweezers it slipped in fine. Overall, the pictures and explanations were perfect and it all went very smoothly. Charged it up for 24 hours and it is as good as new.

Putting the #3 ribbon cable back in place definitely works better with a pair of tweezers. The rest is actually quite easy. The battery needs to be levered out quite slowly because of the adhesive.
