Mystery Crack In Screen

One day we discovered a crack in the iPad screen. We don't know how it happened. After researching our options, iFixit was the best choice.

The repair went smoothly. I opened tabs in my browser for the guide and video.

The most tense moment came right before attaching the glass. Little pieces of dust kept landing on the LCD, and it was tricky to remove them all. I gently used a piece of tape to lift them off without getting fingerprints on it.

- dead pixels in display

- dead spots in touch screen

- wifi and bluetooth

- power, mute, volume keys

- home button

- new glass fits flush

- headphone jack

- microphone

- front and rear cameras

- 4G signal
