I used Amazon as well for adhesive tape and got a good deal. Definitely check there if you want a good deal or have a Prime Account.
If you can, I would retrace your steps to make sure everything is hooked up accordingly and test the parts for anything that might be damaged. Check the cables and see if the connectors are dirty or anything is obstructing a secure connection.
Macrossps answered it pretty nicely. If you don't have the time and tools, I understand wanting to get it repaired professionally but understand that on old devices it can be cheaper to do it yourself. You can find people who will do it for you but it depends on your location and what services are available there. I like macrossps idea on the full screen assembly as an option too.
Do you mean you took one speaker out or the speaker is no longer functioning properly?
Are you using a prying tool and going around the edges of the tablet to open it? What exactly is happening?
I figured it out. I removed the camera, attached the new display screen, and then put the camera back in. It must be a millimeter off because when I did this it worked. I just wanted to add this comment in case anyone else has this problem.
How did you replace the camera? I am having the same problem lining up my replacement screen.
