Answer to "Replace HHD with SSD drive"There's no need to buy hddfancontrol - ssd fan control is free/donationware and works a treat using the S.M.A.R.T. data from the SSD. I've used it on mine and many other iMacs, download from here: http://exirion.net/ssdfanctrl/ You'll also need a caddy to convert the SSD to 3.5" - the basic little tray that for instance Crucial sell is not good enough and leaves the SSD hanging on one screw. Buy something like this one: http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00F3QFKNS
Answer to "How do I get my turntable to rotate"My Panasonic Microwave was really easy to fix. On the bottom there's a metal panel that is almost punched out. It's hanging on by a couple of metal tags that can be cut with side cutters (wire cutters if you like) Simply snip these on three sides and bend back the panel to reveal the turntable motor. Take out the couple of screws holding the motor and it falls out. Replacement motor costs less than £10. I just taped the metal cover back down with some aluminium duct tape. You could use large (short) self tapping screws to do the same.
