can you provide an image of the error? if your hard drive is flagged with S.M.A.R.T. Errors it means it will fail anytime soon on the future. It might be missing drivers or an accidental removal of drivers. What have changed since it was ok? have you installed some program? have you uninstalled something? have you changed some network settings (I am talking about windows platform)
