Have they fixed the short screen cable on 2019 models? The older ones had an issue where the screen flex was too short and would give up after a while. You could try barely opening the screen to see if the picture comes back.
It's unlikely a game with missing copper contacts would play at all. I'd say the contacts are just dirty. Take an eraser/rubber and rub the contacts to clean them. Should fix the issue. If there really are missing copper contacts i would need to see a picture to help you further.
There could be numerous faults at play here. First make sure the new battery is properly plugged in and making good contact. If the same issue happens try your old battery if it is still working. the phone turns on, your replacement battery is faulty. If the old battery behaves just like the new one it could indicate motherboard damage caused during the replacement.
Not only it requires soldering but plenty of other tools as well since the digitizer is glued to the display. Display - glue - digitizer - glue - glass. Older iPads had it separate making the replacement a lot easier. The part you need to desolder has chips on it which I believe are married to the motherboard. No matter what screen or digitizer you get you’ll need to desolder it and solder it onto the new assembly.
Hi, i had about 4 iphone 6 come in the shop in the last month where the iphone tries to turns on but only the backlight is on. Seems like a software issue. Install itunes to your computer if you don't have already and plug the phone in via lightning cable. If a pop-up comes up saying the iphone needs to be restored, restore it and it should work again.
Hi Sierra, If the sole purpose of doing the swap is to make your phone look like iPhone 7+ then yes and no. You can't stick an iPhone 6+ mobo into iphone 7+. Instead you need to head over to sites like aliexpress and buy a lookalike housing. There are plenty of those out there and will make your phone look like a newer model. For example this one here to make your 6 plus look like an iPhone 8 plus (please note I do not know the quality of the housing nor how good of a bit it'll be, all i did was search iphone 6 housing): € 20,71 18%OFF | AAA quality Glass Body back Housing for iPhone 6 6s plus like 8 plus Rear back Chassis Battery Cover with Buttons Sim Tray https://a.aliexpress.com/_m0Pm74B
Hi Ryan, Let me start by saying i haven't reprogrammed any batteries myself yet. I am guessing when you transfer all the info over to your new battery it also transfers the cycle count etc, making your phone think the new battery had 83% of its capacity left. I've seen some battery programmers in the past and they all had a cycle count reset button. Not sure where it's located on qianli but after you reset the cycles it should correct the battery health
Hi Enock, The screen is connected to the motherboard via 3 flex cables located under the rear camera. These connections are secured using a metal shield which is then screwed in to place. It's unlikely the screen connections came undone. If the screen connections ripped you need to replace the screen. What’s more likely to happen is one of 2 things. The screen slightly lifted off the phone. iPhone screens simply pop into place as there are retaining clips on the side of the phone, if the screen took hard enough fall it could've unclipped causing the screen to lift. Pressing lightly on the lifted area should fix it. The second thing is the glass itself lifting off. I've seen this happen on numerous occasions if the phone is twisted or heavily bent. Since the digitizer and screen are really fragile there's glass glued to the top of this screen sandwich to protect it ( the part of the screen you touch) If this layer came off you also need to replace the screen. Can't see this happening without the screen...
