https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7QyZTa8f...-c&feature=youtu.be Might seem odd to be answering my own question a few hours after asking it, but just in case anyone else has the same problem I found this video of an Indonesian man fixing the same problem on an LG TV. I can’t really understand what he’s saying but the fix involves putting a small piece of selotape onto the ribbon connector to the display. I don’t know why this works and if anyone can enlighten me I’d be interested to know, but it has fixed the problem so if your TV is doing the same give it a try.
