Juan Colon enrolled at CSULA in fall of 2019. Originally his field of study was physics. However, he realized his passion was in engineering. Specifically, electrical engineering.

Juan's passion for electrical engineering has long been imbedded. As child he had interest in tinkering with remote controls and wondering what the diode in the front purpose was for. One day Juan managed to split open the remote. His displeased parents noticed his interest was not in destroying the remote but rather the internals of the remote. Juan is also interested in music. He hopes with his future of studying electrical engineering, he would be able code and make his own instruments.

Juan expects to finish his electrical engineering program in fall of 2026. He is currently a member of the SPACE program. Once a former member of CSULA physics club. Juan's ambitions for future are to join the CSULA engineering program and graduate from CSULA.
