The drip ring has to be fully on in order to stay in place. I find that the best way to do this is to turn the mixer up-side-down. Hack someone hold in place and tap all around the drip ring with a plastic mallet driving it fully in place evenly.

This must clear a stop in the brush holder. Take a flashlight and look into the holder and make sure the brush is aligned before inserting it. Are all the wires attached to the proper tabs on the control board? Is the link that pushes on the control plate properly positioned. This link also actuates the on-off switch on the control board. The Service Manual will help you make sure that everything is in its proper place.
Читать далееWhen everything else works except for the turntable, the usual cause is a faulty turntable motor. Replacing the motor is not that hard if you are comfortable opening ou the oven (and be sure to follow the advice about the capacitor). So far I have replaced motors on two different microwaves. My source for motors has been Ebay.

The following Service Manual will cover disassembly and checking the speed adjustment after re-assembly. Читать далееYour analysis is correct. The “bump” needs to better engage. This is best done by opening the machine up and 1) making sure the pivot screw holding the lever in place is not loose, and 2) if needed, remove the lever and give it a slight bend in the right direction, and reattach. Читать далееWhile the change in motor noise is most likely a motor fault, do examine the grinder itself. If the front ring is too tight, the mixer will grind (pun alert) to a halt. If the grinder is adjusted properly, the motor’s worm-follower gear is the next thing to look at. It is designed to fail and save the motor from burning out. To protect the board, be sure to put heat-sink compound on the back of the new circuit (phase) board to ensure proper heat transfer to the housing.
Some corrections:
Step 1 -- Suggest (as the Service Manual does) using a flat-blade screwdriver and tap it with a light hammer to drive the drip ring off.
Step 2 -- the correct size pin punch is 5/32"
Step 3 -- Using two flat-blade screwdrivers, one on each side, pry off the planetary.
A plastic spudger is likely to break. Two points of leverage opposits each other distributes the load and prevents to the planetary and its shaft.
Step 11 -- The proper punch size is 3/32"
Steps 12 & 13 -- There is a washer on each side of the worm gear. Retain these and place one on each side off the grar when reassembling.
