My camera turns on, displays full battery (batteries are new) until I press the button to take a picture - then it switches to "change battery". I have made sure batteries are good. There is no corrosion in the chamber. Any guesses?

Did you ever find a solution? I have that problem as well.

I have the same issue as well. Once you turn the camera off and back on again it returns to full battery. Have found no solution anywhere…

Yep, same issue. The troubleshooting section of the manual simply says “camera not functioning properly” yeet

I am having the same issue with mine. I find that if I switch out of M to another mode, it comes back again. It seems to be struggling to advance the film? I took the film out and reloaded but that didn't fix the issue.
Has anyone found a resolution to this yet?
