Huawei Ascend XT Troubleshooting
The Huawei Ascend XT has many of the same problems as other smartphones. Disassembly can be relatively difficult. The back can be tricky to pop off. Due to the low number of required parts, repairing the Huawei Ascend XT should be fairly straightforward. Replacement parts are widely available online at reasonable prices.
Camera Will Not Take Pictures
The camera does not capture images when you press the shutter button.
Check to make sure that you have enough memory space for photos in the settings, sometimes if you do not have enough space on your phone, the camera will not allow you to take photos. If there is not enough memory space, please see the following guide

Speaker is Too Quiet
The speaker is quiet even when the volume is in the maximum setting
Volume Button Assembly Is Broken
After checking volume buttons for debris, see the following guide for Volume Button Assembly Replacement.
Speaker Is Blown Out
After checking that your volume settings are set to max in the settings, find if there is noise coming out of the phone at all. If there is no noise at all, it could be a software issue. If the noise is unclear or too quiet, it is most likely the speaker itself. If it is the speaker itself, please see the following guide for Speaker Replacement.
Screen is Not Responsive
The screen does not react when pressed on
Poor Touch Response
If when touching your phone screen, it does not react, or reacts badly, see the following guide for Screen Replacement.

WiFi Will Not Connect
The phone keeps searching for wifi but never connects
After checking that the wifi is set to "On" on your device and you have a known network to connect to, see the following guide for Antenna Replacement.
Device Will Not Turn On
When the power button is pressed, the phone will stay off

Inadequate Battery Life
Check and see if your phone will cut on once plugged in, if not, see the following guide for Battery Replacement.
Slow Phone Performance
The phone has a delay whenever an app is opened or apps take a while to load

Memory is Insufficient
Clear out internal storage by deleting photos and excess apps.
