Vacuum isn’t charging
The vacuum is not charging properly. despite being connected to the charging dock
Dock Isn't Plugged In
Is the Neato Botvac Connected fully plugged into the dock? It may be due to user error, and the vacuum was not fully plugged in.
Dock Is Dirty
There's a possibility that the Botvac doesn't have a secure connection to the base. To clean the base remove the Neato Botvac from the base and clean the silver bars on the charging base and vacuum.
Dock Isn't Connected To Power
Try plugging in the dock into another outlet, and see if it charges, ensure that the charging station is plugged into a proper power outlet.
Battery is Faulty
If it is still not charging, you likely have to replace the battery, Batteries tend to wear out in general, so it is recommended to replace them. Click here for a guide on how to replace the battery.
Vacuum isn’t picking up debris properly
The Neato Botvac Connected is not picking up debris properly despite moving toward the debris.
Filter is at Capacity
The vacuum may be at capacity, in this case, check the filter and ensure that the filter is fully empty. If it is full, clean the filter by taking the filter out and emptying it into the trash bin.
Front Roller Has Debris
Check if there is anything stuck on the front roller. Lightly spin it and thoroughly look to see if there is any debris that you can remove. Gently remove the debris and check if it is still making noise.
Side Brush Has Debris
Check if there is anything stuck on the side brush Lightly spin it and thoroughly look to see if there is any debris that you can remove. Gently remove the debris and check if it is still making noise.
Either The Side Brush or Front Roller is Faulty
If it still is not picking up debris properly, replace the front or side brush accordingly. Replace the part that is not moving. Click here to replace the side brush and here to replace the front roller.
Excessive noise coming from the vacuum
The Neato Botvac Connected is working properly but excessive noise is coming from the vacuum
Front Roller Has Debris
Check if there is anything stuck on the front roller. Lightly spin it and thoroughly look to see if there is any debris that you can remove. Gently remove the debris and check if it is working now.
Side Brush Has Debris
Check if there is anything stuck on the side brush Lightly spin it and thoroughly look to see if there is any debris that you can remove. Gently remove the debris and check if it is working now.
Filter Has Debris
The vacuum may be at capacity, in this case, check the filter and ensure that the filter is fully empty. If it is full, clean the filter by taking the filter out and emptying it into the trash bin.
Filter is Faulty
You likely have to replace the filter. It is recommended to replace them every two months, as there is lots of debris that build up that cannot be removed since the filter is made up of very gentle components. Click here for a guide to replace your filter.

The Neato Botvac Connected is not moving
Vacuum Isn't Fully Charged
Ensure that the vacuum is fully charged. It usually takes two-three hours to charge fully, so have it sit on the docking station, ensuring that it is effectively charging.
Vacuum Needs to be Rebooted
In order to reboot the Neato Botvac Connected, take the robot off from it's docking station. Hold down the start button until all of it's lights turn off. After that, hold the start button for a few seconds, then wait for it to chime, and now check if it is moving.
Wheels have Debris in Them
If debris is stuck on the wheels, try removing it and see if it now moves.
Wheels are Faulty
If the Neato Botvac Connected is still not moving, you may have to replace the wheels. Click here to replace the wheels.

The Neato Botvac Connected is not turning on despite pressing the power button
Vacuum Needs to be Rebooted
In order to reboot the Neato Botvac Connected, take the robot off from it's docking station. Hold down the start button until all of it's lights turn off. After that, hold the start button for a few seconds, then wait for it to chime, and now check if it is moving.
Vacuum isn't Fully Charged
Refer back to the charging section, and ensure it is fully in the station, and that the station is receiving power.
Battery is Faulty
If the battery is still not turning on, you may have to replace the battery. Click here to replace the battery.
