Device Won't Turn On
Despite pressing the power button, the device will not turn on.
The device may fail to turn on due to a dead battery. Try connecting the device to a charger.
If charging the device does not fix the problem, your device may have an internal battery issue. Use the replacement guide to inspect the battery and its connections. If there are no visible issues, you may need to replace the battery. A guide to replace the battery can be found here.
Screen Not Responding
The device's touch screen is not working as expected.
The device may have older software which affects the speed of the touchscreen. Check for any updates the device may need.
The screen may misread inputs if your hands are wet or dirty. Make sure your hands are dry and clean.
If the screen is damaged, it may cause the touch screen to not work properly. It will need to be replaced. A guide to replace the screen can be found here.
Another Bluetooth device could not locate your Gear
Your Gear cannot be found by another device.
Devices are too far from each other
Verify that your Gear and your other Bluetooth Device are within the Bluetooth connection range. The distance of the connection varies upon the environment and surroundings of the device. Objects such as walls interfere with connectivity. A good distance would be within 10 meters to ensure connectivity.
Check that the Bluetooth wireless feature is activated on your Gear. To access the Bluetooth settings from the Clock screen:
- Swipe right to access.
- Settings → Bluetooth.
- Check the Bluetooth option. If it is OFF, toggle it to ON. Now your Gear will be visible to other devices so that they may connect to it.
Bluetooth connections to the Gear could not be established
Your watch is not being located by other devices.
Bluetooth is off
The device's Bluetooth may be off meaning it cannot connect with other devices. Make sure bluetooth is turned on. On the device, do the following:
- Swipe right to the Settings icon on the device.
- Under Settings, find Bluetooth Settings.
- Under Bluetooth Settings, toggle on Bluetooth.
- Check the box next to the devices you want your Device to be able to connect to.
Devices are out of range/Interference
Bluetooth connectivity can be affected by the distance between two devices or the environment that you're attempting to connect in. The devices that you want to connect may be too far apart to connect or may be experiencing interference. Try bringing them closer before attempting to connect and eliminating any source that can interfere with the connection.
If Bluetooth is still not working
If your Bluetooth is still not working, take the device to a [|Samsung Service Center.]
Camera is not working properly
When launching the camera, error messages appear.
If the battery is low, the camera will not launch. Try charging the device to fix the problem.
Not enough storage
There may not be enough storage on the device to take a photo. Try deleting unneeded data from your phone.
