When you start the stereo, the screen does not light up or turn on.

Try resetting the stereo by pressing the reset button located on the front of the device.

If this does not work, turn off your car, then turn it back on and see if that resolves the issue.

It is possible that the LCD bulb in the stereo's screen has expired. You can refer to our guide on how to replace the LCD.

If replacing the LCD does not resolve the issue, then it is most likely the motherboard that is the issue. To do this you can follow the front screen motherboard repair guide.

No matter what you do, the stereo will not turn on.

You are unable to insert a new CD into the disk tray.

There may be a CD already in the tray. Press the eject button on the front display and remove the CD currently in the tray.

If this does not work, press the reset button located on the front of the screen, and see if that ejects the disk.

It is possible that there is another CD jammed into the disk tray. We have a guild on how to remove a jammed CD.

You insert a new disk properly, but its automatically ejected.

If the ambient temperature reaches 50 degrees Celsius (122 degrees Fahrenheit) or higher, then the stereo will not function properly. Leave the stereo off for a little bit, to let the parts sit and cool. After a few minutes, turn it back on and try inserting a disk again.

It is possible that your CD is dirty or defective. Clean the disk and then play it again.

Stereo will not play music, or function properly.

It is possible that that CD was inserted upside-down. Eject the CD and make sure it is inserted right-side-up, with the shiny part facing down.
