I've been searching for a replacement as well but haven't broken it yet I kinda want to upgrade my SSD but also a bit paranoid about the screen so I went searching for one I found one place that sells a replacement but it isn't cheap you may as well buy a new one for that price...

Are you sure what you have found is the correct version for your device.
Many screens are available and substantially cheaper than what you have found. They all have the right chips and are advertised for the surface pro but the connectors to GPU are different. The distributors also claim that the versions are not compatible. Best just sticking to the SSD you have.
