I was using my canon 600d camera and suddenly it just died, I mean turned off by itself.. I presumed it was the battery so I fully charged it. Unfortunatley it is still not turning on. Any solutions for this?Thank you.

I have the same problem , i checked it and the dc board ( Power board ) has broken

My issue was a corrupt SD card. Try removing your SD card first and power on your camera. This worked for me.

There are also small tabs on the CF card door and the battery door that depresses a switch when closed. On my camera, this tab was broken off and no longer pressed the switch. The parts are small and not obvious but will keep the camera from turning on if they are missing (broken).

make sure the media card slot door is closed and secure properly..there are points on the door that go into a slot when the door closes and triggers the camera to know its closed..the camera will not turn on if the door is open or not closed properly..
