Hot shoe doesn't work
I tried a canon flash on the hot shoe and it fired twice. It now won't fire even if using a sony flash made for the camera.

Unfortunately, it sounds like you fried your hotshoe.
Older flashs have different voltages, and this may have damaged your camera.

is there a way to repair it? Would changing the Top Hot shoe mount board fix the issue? same happened with me…
