Battery temperature too high
Got a new battery in my note 5. A few days later, it's telling me charging paused, battery temperature too high. Battery temperature is normal though.

Probably the battery is faulty giving incorrect battery temperature information, I usually see the battery temperature too low message meaning liquid damage near the charging port area (where the thermistor component is).

Thank you for your input. The battery is new and original. I recently (a few days) replaced it. The notification disappeared now. Battery is charging, but not exceeding 67%.
This might be a long shot but is the phone up to date for software updates (Android OS updates) in settings?
Thanks Ben. OS system up to date. I am noticing now they it is charging sometimes, And charging is paused sometimes. Can't quite figure out when and why. Today when it paused, i pulled the cable and blew some air in the hole. It restarted charging. Can't figure why either. Is charging overt 67% now, 82 and going up.
