How to fix screen/replace screen?

So I have had my iPod touch for a while and recently some splotches appeared on the screen I am unsure how to fix this or replace the screen (side note I also cannot get the case of easily but let’s assume I can) I don’t know how to fix this or replace it, how do you? Edit in picture screen is just on white picture
