Why won't the camera power on?

Judi, make sure that the contacts on your camera are actually making solid contact with the battery contacts. Also make sure that there is no corrosion or debris on the contact. Clean them with some isopropyl alcohol or a mild backing soda solution. If you battery is okay and if the contacts are clean and in touch with the battery,you may have to dig deeper and dismantle your camera. There are two fuses on the PCB that you could check for continuity. Also, make sure that the connectors and wires coming of the battery box are properly seated. Hope this helps to get you started.
