Problems with the screen after replacing it

Hello IFIXIT Community,

I purchased the iPhone XS OLED Screen Replacement from IFIXIT. After replacing the screen, I noticed that tap to wake does not always work. Another problem I noticed, is that whenever my iPhone XS is in cold conditions, I have to press the screen harder in order for it to register my finger on the screen. A light touch will not work. But if I keep using the phone and the battery warms it, light touches will work (I also installed a screen protector, but I suppose that should not cause those problems).
