laptop won't completely shutdown
my EliteBook folio 9480m laptop won't completely shutdown unless i remove the battery, i have tried all settings and resetting bios, but still the problem remains. i have cleaned the motherboard but still the same results. please assist.

What OS is installed?
Have you tried pressing and holding the Power button operated >4 seconds to see if it shuts down?
How long have you waited to see if it shuts down or not by itself e.g. 5-10 minutes etc?
Is there HDD activity occurring after you have attempted to shut it down it the normal manner?
