So I have an iPhone 4 and we took out the battery because it was puffy and know I just need a way to use it without a battery so I can test to see if it works and if I can do that then I will get a battery

Here's the ifixit Замена аккумулятора iPhone 4 guide that shows how to replace the battery so that hopefully it will work again.
Easier and safer to do this than to try and bypass the power management circuits and damage something
As for making it look cute - beauty is in the eye of the beholder so it's up to you to do to it, whatever gives you the most pleasure when looking at it.
