The Acer Chromebook Tab 10 N18Q1 was announced in March 2018 and made available in April 2018.

1st Chromebook tablet built to run Chrome OS. It comes with a stylus that is battery-free, has no need for pairing, and docks into the body of the tablet. Along with being built with classroom durability and flexibility in mind, it's textured and grippy on the back and relatively light for its screen size; it has a protective stylus storage and a large bezel to enhance gripping.

It officially came in the news in March 2018 to announce the world’s first tablet running Chrome OS, aimed at the K-12 education market. Targeting the education (K-12 market) with features like Chrome Education workflows. Launched first in North America (in April 2018) for education and commercial customers, then in Europe, the Middle East & Africa in May 2018. Its price when launched in the U.S. was around $329 for the education/commercial channel.

The stylus (battery-free) is appreciated, especially for notetaking or classroom work, since you don’t have to charge it or pair it. Battery life is seen as decent. The USB-C port (for charging, data transfer, etc.) and general build are good for classroom-friendly management. And the Chrome OS’s multi-user support is a positive for institutions.
