The HP EliteBook 800 is the initial model for the Elitebook 800 series, developed in October, 2013. This model released with three different screen sizes starting the 820/840/850 models. These models are in order from screen size of 12.5"/14"/15.6".

The HP EliteBook 800 is not a specific laptop but rather the shorthand term for the 800 series, including the 820/830/835/840/850 series. These specific series are then broken down by generation level. All HP EliteBook laptops have a shiny “hp” print on the top of the laptop, and a tiny grey “hp” print on the bottom of the laptop screen, but what makes the EliteBook 800 unique from the other HP EliteBook laptops is its position of the plug ports on the side of the laptop. On the left side of the laptop, there are two USB-A ports and a headphone jack, lined up side-to-side in that order, from the USB-A ports being closest to the screen and the headphone jack being closest to the mousepad. On the right side of the laptop, there is an HP charger, an HDMI port, and two USB-C ports, all lined up side by side in that order from the charger being closest to the screen to the USB-C ports being closest to the mousepad. Last but not least, this particular laptop has a webcam on the top of its screen.
