Background
The Lenovo IdeaPad P400 Touch was released in 2013. It has a 14" screen with touch screen functionality, one USB 3.0 port, two USB 2.0 ports, and one HDMI port. It comes equipped with 8 GB DDR3 SDRAM and an Intel Core i7 processor. The default operating system is Windows 8. The battery for the the Lenovo IdeaPad P400 Touch is not detachable from the laptop. The P400 is included in the Z/P series of Lenovo laptops.
Faulty firmware has led to multiple issues with the battery charging properly. It's recommended to download the latest firmware from the Lenovo Drivers & Software webpage.
Identification
This laptop is graphite grey. It has the word Lenovo written on the upper left corner of the lid. The keyboard has black keys on a silver background, which is lighter in color than the body of the laptop. The model number of the laptop, which can be located on the bottom near the center, is 20211.
