The Lenovo ThinkPad L540 is a 15.6 inch laptop that was released in 2014 as part of Lenovo's ThinkPad L series succeeding the older ThinkPad the Lenovo ThinkPad L530. Compared to its older counterpart, the L540 upgraded its processors, improved battery life and offers slight design changes which updated hardware while maintaining the classic build and durable design of the ThinkPad series. The L540 features a 15.6 inch display and a weight of 2.5 kg, making it useful for school and work environments. Its design is great for portability making it great to bring anywhere and good for affordability. Alternatives to the L540 is its successor the Lenovo ThinkPad L550 which had minor changes and the Lenovo ThinkPad L560 which improved performance.
