The MX Anywhere 3S for Business was released in September 2022, over a year before the regular MX Master 3S. The MX Master 3S is a direct successor to the popular MX Master 3 for Business. Following Logitech's pattern of "S" model upgrades of their popular mice featuring silent switches, the MX Master 3S features noticeably quieter mouse buttons, a higher maximum sensor sensitivity (8000 vs 4000 dpi), and the incorporation of post-consumer recycled plastic in the shell's construction.

The MX Master 3S uses the "Logi Bolt" receiver instead of a "Unifying" receiver.
