Background and Identification
The Sony Vaio VPCEG26FX was released in 2011 by Sony. It is easily identifiable by the VAIO badge on the top panel. The model number is located on the bottom panel label. The plastic housing is black with silver accents. The right hand side has a cd/dvd reader and three USB ports. The left hand side has a barrel plug charging port, an ethernet, VGA, HDMI, separated headphone and microphone jacks, and USB ports. The operating system is Windows 7. There have been no known recalls, but information from Sony about the device is difficult to find.
