Gigabyte P34G RAM Replacement

The laptop uses RAM to read and write data and to perform basic operations. RAM may need to be replaced or added overtime for the laptop to be at optimal performance.

Make sure you are grounded before starting. To ground yourself, simply touch a metal object that is in contact with the floor for a few seconds.

    • Unscrew the single 9.8mm screw on the underside of the laptop using a #0 screwdriver.

    • Set the screw and cover plate in a safe space for reassembly later.

    • Pull the two marked tabs to the sides to release the RAM.

    • Carefully remove the existing RAM by pulling away from the connector and set it aside.

    • After replacement, remember to re-lock the two white pins to secure the new RAM.
