If your HEC Remote Control stops working properly due to issues like, sticky buttons, a bad LED, or no response from the remote, the use this guide to repair your HEC Remote Control.
The remote control works by sending infrared (IR) signals to communicate with your device. Some symptoms of a faulty IR signal could be buttons not working or corrosion of battery terminals.
Before disassembly, please check for dirt buildup in and on the remote, dead batteries, and battery corrosion. Many signal issues can be resolved by performing a simple cleanup process on the remote.
Finally, remove batteries and disconnect any power source to the remote to prevent further damage.
